Installing a DIMM

1. Locate the DI�� sockets in the motherboard.
2. Unlock a DI�� socket by �ressing the retaining cli�s out�ard.
3. Align a DI�� on the socket such that the notch on the DI�� matches the
break on the socket.
4. Push the DI�� to the socket until the retaining cli�s sna� in�ard.
CAUTION:
• Un�lug the �o�er su��ly before adding or removing DI��s. Failure to do so may
cause damage to the motherboard and/or com�onents.
• A DDR2/DDR3 DIMM is keyed with a notch so that it fits in only one direction.
Do not force a DI�� into a socket in the �rong direction to avoid damaging the
DI��.

Installing an expansion card

1. Remove the metal cover o��osite
the slot that you intend to use.

3. Insert the card connector to the
slot, then press the card firmly
until it fits in place.
4. Re�lace the metal bracket lock.
