Closing the canopy

CAUTION
Danger of injury from tipping over
Lack of care can cause the parasol to tip over on account of its high weight.
Two people are required to install the parasol.

The base must be heavy enough to prevent the parasol from tipping over in high winds when closed.

NOTICE
Property damage from abrasion of the parasol fabric
Permanent fluttering in the wind can damage the parasol fabric due to abrasion against the ribs. Claims for
compensation cannot be asserted against CARAVITA for this type of damage.
Always secure the closed canopy using the strap.

Have the strap ready.
Have the protective cover ready.

3 Insert the crank in the mechanism on the pole.
4 Turn the crank to the right.
The canopy opens slowly.
5 Take the crank out of the mechanism on the pole.
