Inserting/removing the
rechargeable battery
Ensure that the safety key (
is removed.
1. To insert the rechargeable
battery (27) into the battery
compartment, open the hinged
cover (24).
2. Slide the rechargeable battery
(27) into the device. It locks into
place audibly.
3. Close the hinged cover (24).
4. To remove the rechargeable
battery (27) from the device,
press the unlock button (26) up-
ward and pull out the recharge-
able battery.

Operation

Switching ON and OFF

Check the load status of the re-
chargeable battery before switch-
ing on (see „Translation of the
original instructions for use Bat-
tery/ Battery charger").
1. Insert the safety key (23) into
the device and turn it to the „I"
position (see small photo).
2. To switch on press

safety key (23) to position „0".
Remove the safety key to pre-
vent unintentional starting.
Overload protection: The motor will
switch off automatically, if the ma-
chine is overloaded. Release the
start handle and start the machine
again after it has cooled down.

Practical tips

Observe the noise protection and
local regulations.
Work with care, especially if you
change the movement direction.
Move the machine slowly (at walking
speed) and in lines which should be
as straight as possible so that the lines
overlap a bit.
We recommend that the machine may
be used for snow heights of up to
20 cm.
Clear snow when it is loose, freshly
fallen, as the layer of snow can turn
to ice later, making the work more dif-
ficult.
Do not use the machine with snow that
is very hard and frozen. The rubber
covering of the auger could be dam-
aged.
Clear the snow in the wind direction as
far as possible.

Switch the machine off and tilt it, if you
have to cross a gravel path or sensi-
tive surfaces.
