Drive the splitting column up and down a few times until the grease
is distributed evenly.
Contact your specialist dealer if you wish to replace the splitting

column guides.
Checking the oil level and changing oil
Damage to the wood splitter due to a lack of oil!
If low oil results in air entering the circuit, the wood splitter will no
longer work precisely (jerky or sudden movements) and the hydraulic
pump may also be damaged.

Check the level of the hydraulic oil regularly.
›
Never operate the wood splitter with insufficient oil or without
oil.
Damage to the wood splitter due to contaminated hydraulic
oil!
If dirt enters the circuit, this can result in damage to the hydraulic
pump.
›
Ensure that no dirt, wood chips, etc. enter the oil tank.
