7 Maintenance
The following inspections and maintenance are recommended at least twice a
year for best performance.
Make sure that the inverter is adequately ventilated. Remove cobwebs or

sonsitge wastefromthe housing, ventilation intakes and heat sinks.
Check all connectorsto make sure that the insulation has not been damaged

e.B. by sunlight, dryness, insects or rats, etc.. Repair or replace the damaged
lines if necessary
Check and measurefor whether the LED orLCD displayed values match

the actual operatingparameters. Pay attention to bug fixes or bug
displays. Take corrective action where appropriate.
Check all terminals for signs of corrosion, insulation damage, high temperature or

combustion/discoloration, and tighten the terminal screws.
Clean up dirt, insects and corrosion in good time.

Check and make sure that the lightning conductor is in good condition.

Replace it if necessary to ensure safe operation of the inverter and connected
devices.
Danger of electric shock! Make sure the entire power supply is
turned off. Note that the installed capacitors still have to carry
current and discharge before measures can be taken on the
inverter even minutes after the DC termination.
