5 - USE OF THE TOOL
The battery charger (21) control is made for each of the 2 batteries with 2 lights. The one is green (22), the other one is red
(23). The batteries (2) charge follows the time sequence from 1 to 5:
GREEN LIGHT
RED LIGHT
1
OFF
OFF
2
ON
OFF
3
ON
Flashing
4
ON

5

OFF
When connecting a brand new or a flat battery (2), the battery charger (21) begins a pre-formatting phase at low current, with
the green light (22) on and the red light (23) flashing. Only after the battery (2) has reached the correct voltage level, the
charging phase begins, with the red light (23) on.
The battery re-charging time (26) depends on the cells capacity and the residual charge. The maximum charge time is 9 hours.

5.4 TROUBLESHOOTING

WARNING!
Maintenance shall be undertaken only by well-trained personnel.
FAULTS
The shear does not work.
The shear is not powerful enough.
Excessive battery (2) consumption.
Temporary shear stopping during the use.
Flashing ON-OFF light (15).
The green lights (22) of the battery charger
(21) do not switch on.
The red lights (23) of the battery charger
(21) do not switch on.

- BATTERY CHARGER

6.1 Product identification

Thanks to a new technology, the battery charger (21) mod. C1 (2x20) does not require either a pre-discharge of the battery nor its
check-up.
This system allows to re-charge the batteries (2) even if they are only partially flat.

6.2 Unit elements

Network connecting cable (20).
Battery cable (24).
115/230 V voltage selector (25).
Fuse (26) (T1A).
Green starting light (22).
Red charge/signal light (23).
