feed on the screen and displays a grid. Click
or draw zones on the screen: the
red boxes are controlled by your device. The
transparent zones are ignored by the
motion detection.
6 Corresponds to the length of a recording
triggered by the detection of a movement,
adjustable from 30 sec to 5 min
7 Select which camera(s) must record when
the selected camera detects a movement.
For example, you can trigger 2 cameras
to record when the active camera detects a
movement.
8 Tick to make an indicator light appear on the
screen to show detection has been activated
9 Tick to send an email in the event motion is
detected
10 Tick to have the camera feed go to full
screen mode when motion is detected
11 Click the 'Sauver' [Save] button after making
changes to save your settings

2.8 - EMAIL ALERT SETTINGS

Your recorder can send you an email notification if
motion is detected or if there are other events.
You must have 2 email addresses: the sender
address, which will be used by the device to send
alerts, and the address that will receive these alerts.

The device uses the username and password
of the sender address to connect and send the
email. Configuration depends on the chosen email
provider's settings.
Note: the 2 addresses can be the same (you will
simply be sending an email to yourself).
This example uses www.gmail.com:
sender-address@gmail.com sends the alerts,
addressee@gmail.com receives the alerts. Both
addresses need to have been created beforehand.
To adjust email settings, go to the 'Paramètre'
[Parameters] menu / 'Réseau' [Network] / 'Email':

1 Select 'Activer [Enable]' to enable email

www.gmail.com, select 'Activer' [Enable].
3 SMTP Port: varies with email provider of
the email sending account. In our example
using Gmail: 465
4 Address sending the alert. In our example
using Gmail: smtp.gmail.com. Click 'shift' on
the on-screen keyboard to make the '@'
character appear.
