Steam Mop
1. Give the fl oor a sweep and / or vacu-
um before using the device.
2. Assemble the device (see the "As-
sembly" and "Functions of the Attach-
ments" chapters).
3. Fill the water tank (8) (see the "Filling
the Water Tank" chapter).
4. To unwind the connecting cable, pull
out the upper hook for winding up the
cable (2) a little and turn it down.
5. Place the device upright and tilt the
handle pole (3) forwards towards the
cleaning foot (10) until the joint (12) of
the cleaning foot engages.
6. Adjust the steam quantity control (13)
to the lowest setting by turning it as
far as it will go anticlockwise.
7. Plug the mains plug into a properly
installed plug socket that is easily
accessible.
8. Move the On / Off switch (15) to the I
position. The control lamps (7) behind
the water tank light up red. Wait until
the device has reached operating
temperature and the control lamps
light up blue. Steam begins to
emerge from the cleaning foot.
9. The quantity of steam can be adjusted
by turning the steam quantity control.
Please Note: When the steam quantity
control is turned, it takes a few seconds
for the quantity of steam to adjust.
10. Hold the device securely by the
handle (1) and tilt it backwards slightly
to release the locking mechanism in
the joint of the cleaning foot.
If necessary, hold the cleaning foot
with your own foot as you do this.
11. Guide the cleaning foot slowly back
and forth over the fl oor. The fl oor is
cleaned as you do this.
12. After use, move the On / Off switch
to the 0 position. The control lamps
go out.
Use as Handheld Steam Cleaner
1. Detach the handle (1) and the handle
pole (3) from the device and attach
the attachment you want (see the
"Assembly" and "Functions of the
Attachments" chapters).
2. Fill the water tank (8) (see the "Filling
the Water Tank" chapter).
3. Adjust the steam quantity control (13)
to the lowest setting by turning it as
far as it will go anticlockwise.
4. Plug the mains plug into a properly
installed plug socket that is easily
accessible.
5. Move the On / Off switch (15) to the I
position. The control lamps (7) behind
the water tank light up red. Wait until
the device has reached operating
temperature and the control lamps
light up blue.
6. The quantity of steam can be adjusted
by turning the steam quantity control.
Please Note: When the steam quantity
control is turned, it takes a few seconds
for the quantity of steam to adjust.
7. Guide the attachment slowly over the
surface to be cleaned.
8. After use, move the On / Off switch
to the 0 position. The control lamps
go out.
After Use
1. Pull the mains plug out of the plug
socket.
2. Allow the device and accessories to
cool down completely and then clean
them.
3. Remove the water tank (8) from the
main unit (5) and completely empty it.
