Troubleshooting

Malfunctions can occur in all electrical appliances. This does
not necessarily mean there is a defect in the appliance. For
this reason, please check the tables to see if you can correct
the malfunction.

Never attempt to repair the appliance yourself if it is defec-

tive or presumed to be defective. You can put your own and
future users' lives in danger. Only authorised specialists are
allowed to carry out this repair work.
Problem
The blender is not
working.
The blender is work-
ing but the food is
not being adequately
blended.
Possible cause
The mains plug has
not been inserted
into a socket.
The smoothie cup (4)
with the blade as-
sembly (6) does not
sit correctly on the
motor block (7).
The blender has
been overfilled.

Solution
Insert the mains plug
into a properly in-
stalled socket.
See "Assembling
the blender" on
page EN-10.
Remove some of the
food (see "Emptying
the smoothie cup" on
page EN-13).
