First use

First use

Check the delivery

1. Unpack the appliance.
2. Check the delivery:
– Blender and drinks bottle
(see page EN-9)
– User manual
3. If the delivery is incomplete or
the appliance has been dam-
aged during transit, please
contact our Service depart-
ment (see page EN-16).

Cleaning before use

• Before first use, clean all
parts as described in chapter
„Cleaning and maintenance"
(see page EN-14).
Assembling the blender
WARNING
Risk of electric shock!
Never use a damaged ap-

pliance.
Always disconnect the ap-
■
pliance from the power sup-
ply when it is not in use and
before assembling, disas-
sembling or cleaning.
Be careful when using the
■
sharp blades, emptying the
container and during cleaning.
1. Make sure that the small
sealing ring (5) is correctly
positioned in the blade assem-
bly (6).
2. Place the smoothie cup (4) on
the blade assembly and screw
it on tight in a clockwise direc-
tion.
3. Place the lid (2) on the
smoothie cup in such a way
that the opening tab is located
to the right of the handle of the
smoothie cup.
4. Press the lid onto the smoothie
cup.
5. Turn the smoothie cup in a
clockwise direction until the lid
is in place on the threading.
6. Place the refilling cup (1) in the
lid opening.
7. Place the smoothie cup in the
motor block (7).

Setting up the blender

Prerequisite: ensure that this sur-
face is even, stable, dry, easy to
clean, well lit and easily accessi-
ble.
• Place the motor block (7) on a
suitable work surface.
