The system settings allow you to define all the basic features of the Scoria A10X, including network and
Internet settings, Bluetooth, NFC, battery and power saving settings, personalization (display, wallpaper,
font size, sounds, vibration, etc), storage space, security and privacy settings, storage space management,
user control, as well as other system settings.

Change language

When you start the Scoria A10X for the first time, it is usually set to English. If you want to change the
language, proceed as follows. 1:
1. open the system settings
2. scroll all the way down and open the last menu item "System
3. tap on "Languages & input" in the next menu
4. tap on the top item "Languages
5. tap on "Add a language" and select the desired language. The language is now added.
6. you will see the list of installed languages again. To now change the language to the language you just
installed press with your finger on the three bars and drag it over the previously active language. As
soon as you release your finger, the system language changes to this language.

Barcode scanner

Scoria A10X devices have an integrated high-performance barcode scanner from Zebra. With this reader, you
can electronically process 1D and 2D barcodes of all types. In this section you will learn how to activate, set
up and use the barcode scanner.
Using the barcode scanner
To activate the barcode scanner, start the "Scanner Configuration" application. It must run permanently in
the background for the scan function to be active. Alternatively, a scan-enabled application is required. The
device contains the SoftDecodeScan application, which allows the user to activate the imager, decode the
barcode data and display the barcode content.The integrated barcode scanner in the Scoria A10X acts like a
keyboard and can be triggered via the scan button. If the scan is successful, a beep sounds in the default
configuration. However, the behavior can be configured in the settings.
1. Make sure that an application is open on the device and a text field is in focus (text cursor in text field)
2. Aim the output window on the top of the device at a barcode.
3. Press and hold the scan button, the red LED aiming pattern will light up to help with aiming.
