3. Before using the appliance, check that the volt-
age stated on the type plate of your appliance
matches your mains voltage. We do not recom-
mend operating the appliance with a multiway
plug adapter.
4. Check your appliance before every use to make
sure that the appliance itself, the control, the
power cord and the power adaptor/plug are
without damage and no parts have come loose.
5. To prevent electric shock, do not use the appli-
ance if the cable, control unit, power plug, the
appliance itself or the power adaptor are dam-
aged or if the appliance has other faults, e.g. if
the flow of heat is interrupted, the heating pad
has fallen down resp. is damaged in any other
way or if parts have come loose. Never attempt
repairs yourself, but take your heating pad to
Solis or a service centre authorized by Solis in
order to get it inspected, repaired or mechan-
ically and electrically maintained, in order to
avoid a hazard.
