- Connect the power supply unit (5) to cooking plate, putting the supply unit in its housing and plug the
appliance into electrical outlet.
- Set desired temperature using the temperature control knob (2). The knob can be set to:
o OFF: the appliance is switched off
o 1-2: Low heat –for keeping food warm.
o 2-3: Medium heat-cooking foods thoroughly
o 3-4: High heat-for quick cooking and sealing in juices.
o 5: Super heat –for browning foods quickly
- When the light on supply unit (5) switches off, the cooking
grill reaches the required temperature.
- At this point the contact grill is ready for cooking. Place the
food on the cooking plate.
- During cooking it is advisable to periodically check the condition of the food to prevent burning. It will be
necessary to turn the food to obtain a uniform cooking. To avoid any damage to the non-stick coating,
always use wooden utensils.
- Once finished cooking, remove food with wooden utensils. Do not use metal utensils.
- Unplug the unit and wait for the complete cooling down of each part before cleaning.
After cleaning, which must be carried out by following the instructions in the next paragraph, store the unit
away from heat sources and out of the reach of children.

CLEANING -

Unplug the unit from the electrical outlet and allow complete cooling of each part
before carrying out any cleaning operations.
- Do not immerse the power supply unit (5) in water; do not leave it under the water stream. In any case
avoid water or other liquids to slide on the cooking surfaces.
- Do not use scouring or metal sponges for cleaning the plate.
- Clean the cooking plate with a damp sponge and dishwashing detergents, after cleaning always remove
any residual detergent and dry any part completely before reassembling.
- The lid (7) and the oil collector (4) can be treated as a normal dish.
