10. Operation

All operating modes are shown on the device dis-
play� Operate the device as described in the fol-
lowing sections�

Setting Manual Mode

When Manual mode is set, you can set a fixed tem-
perature which is then maintained by the device�
The adjustment range available is between 5�0 °C
and 29�5 °C� The temperature can be adjusted in
steps of 0�5 °C�
1� Press the Mode/Menu button (5 b) until
Manu (7 d) appears in the display�
2� Use the Rotary knob (9) to set the required
temperature�

Setting Automatic Mode

When Automatic mode is set, the device regulates
the temperature between two temperatures accord-
ing to the time programme set (refer to Setting the
Timer programme
Current valve position
Reset the default factory settings
Adapt the temperature to local char-
acteristics or perception of temper-
ature
Open Window function
Switch between summertime/winter-
time
Set the date and time
