Problem
The app finds the Philips
setup network but fails
to connect to it.
The app and the
machine fail to pair.
Cause
The machine was previously
connected to Wi-Fi and you are
going through the Wi-Fi setup
process again to connect to
another network.
The smartphone or tablet is out
of range of the Philips setup
network.
You did not allow the app to
connect your smartphone or
tablet to the Philips setup
network.
The settings of your
smartphone or tablet are
configured so that connection
to any network without internet
access is not permitted.
The settings of your
smartphone or tablet are
configured so that connection
to an open network is not
permitted.
The Philips setup network was
saved on your smartphone or
tablet, and the smartphone or
tablet has automatically
reconnected to a different
network because the Philips
setup network has no internet
connection.
Your machine is not in pairing
mode anymore (the start/stop
button no longer flashes).
The machine is in the correct
mode (start/stop button is
flashing), but you have not
performed the steps correctly.
Solution
Make sure that you first follow the steps
of section 'Resetting all network settings
and connections'. When that is done,
the machine can be put back into the
setup mode by following the Wi-Fi
setup process in the app.
Make sure you bring the smartphone or
tablet closer to the machine to get
within range of the Philips setup
network.
Make sure that you allow the app to
connect your smartphone or tablet to
the Philips setup network.
Change the settings of your smartphone
or tablet so that connecting to any
network without internet access is
permitted.
Change the settings of your smartphone
or tablet so that connecting to an open
network is permitted.
Clear all saved networks in the network
settings of your smartphone or tablet,
except for the one you wish to connect
the machine to.
Repeat the steps in the app.
Make sure you follow the steps
indicated in the app in the correct order.
First press the start/stop
the machine and then tap the 'Pair' icon
in the app.
