Inserting the batteries
Use headphones
Use 6 AA batteries. If the unit is switched on,
switch it off.
Open the battery compartment (see illustration)
and insert the batteries in pole direction. Close the
battery compartment.
NOTE: Replace old, weak batteries. If you are not
going to use the appliance for a long time, remove
the batteries.
Headphones extend the life of the batteries. You
can insert these under the battery compartment.
The speakers switch off when the headphones are
connected.
Hearing safety
• To protect your hearing, set the volume to the
lowest setting and then adjust it to your liking.
• Never listen at extremely high volume levels
as this can damage your hearing.
• Do not wear headphones in areas with high
traffic volume.
• Watch out for the traffic.
