FILLING THE WATER TANK
Please Note!
■
When the water tank is fi lled, the main
unit must not be tilted, turned upside
down or laid or placed on its side.
Water could leak out!
1. Make sure that the device is switched
off (operating lamp (11) is not lit).
2. Flip open the water tank lid (3).
3. Use the measuring cup to fi ll the
water tank (4) with water or a mixture
of water and cleaning agent (max.
180 ml) (Picture C).
4. Flip the water tank lid shut. It must
engage.
USE
Please Note!

Make sure that there are no large,
sharp objects on the surface which is
to be cleaned.
■
Note the MAX marking on the dirt
container. If during use the marking
is reached, empty the dirt container.
Empty and clean the dirt container
after each use. The fi lter must also be
regularly cleaned in order to prevent
overloading of the motor.
■
Switch off the device after you fi nish
cleaning each surface to signifi cantly
increase the operating time on each
battery charge. Charge up the battery
after use (see the "Charging Up the
Battery" chapter).
The device cannot be operated
when it is connected to the mains
power. Disconnect the connecting
cable (X) prior to use.
1. Assemble the device (see the "As-
sembling the Device" chapter).

2. If you have not already done so,
attach one of the microfi bre cloths (B)
to the cleaning foot (9) using the hook
and loop fastener (Picture D).
3. Fill the water tank (4) (see the "Filling
the Water Tank" chapter).
4. Press the On / Off switch (2) to switch
on the device and move the cleaning
foot over the area which is to be
cleaned.
5. If necessary, press the spray but-
ton (12) on the handle (D) to wet the
fl oor via the spray nozzle (10).
6. Press the On / Off switch again in
order to switch off the device.
CLEANING AND STORAGE
Please Note!

During cleaning make sure that no
liquid gets into the main unit or the
handle.
■
Do not use any sharp or abrasive
cleaning agents for cleaning. They
may damage the surfaces.
The microfi bre cloths (B) may lose
some of their colour over time.
This is normal and does not have
any adverse effect on function.
However, if one of the microfi bre
cloths is damaged or worn, it
must be replaced (replacement
set: Art. No. 05703)

If there is still water in the water
tank (4), empty it.
•
Take out the dirt container (7) and
clean it:
○ press the release button (6);
○ remove the dirt container and emp-
ty it over a drain;
○ rinse the dirt container with clear
water and a little detergent if
required.
