Anwendungsbereiche
Das VPS 504 kann auch an allen
Ventilen eingesetzt werden, bei
welchen konstruktiv die Dicht-
heit in Gegenflussrichtung eine
Undichtheit in Flussrichtung
ausschliesst. Das VPS 504 ist für
alle DUNGS-Ventile nach EN 161
Klasse A und B geeignet.

Fields of application
The VPS 504 may be used with
any other valve whose tightness
in counter-flow direction excludes
by construction a leakage in flow
direction.
The VPS 504 is suitable for all
DUNGS valves according to EN
161 Classes A and B.
Warning instructions -
must be followed.
Application for gas family 1, 2, 3
We recommend carrying out a yearly
inspection of the VPS 504; if it is very
dirty, carry out the inspection every
six months.

If the VPS filters are clogged
or gas connections are closed,
it might appear as though the valves
are properly sealed even if this is not
the case.
The liquid gas version must be
used for gases with a butane
proportion > 60 % and gases
with a density > 1 kg/m

sewage gases and biogases with
hydrogen sulphide

Landfill gases, sewage gases
and biogases must be dry.
The humidity in the gas may
not condense; its condensa-
tion must be prevented with suitable
measures.
The hydrogen sulphide content
may not exceed 0.1 vol.%.
We recommend inspecting the VPS
504 every six months.
