On motherboard:
A led let the user check the product state before the housing is closed (leds board unplugged) or when there is no
leds board. Leds warnings are as followed:

Everything OK: green
o
Faults: orange
ATTENTION: If the cover is removed, a sticker near the LEDs indicates their function. It shows 4 lights. The last
one labelled "NOT USED" is not operating. It has no function.

15.2 Communication

The 3 faults (mains, battery, output) are reported on 3 dry contacts NC NO (positive security).
Dry contact: 1A @ 24Vdc, 0.3A @ 125 Vac

15.3 Protections

Against battery polarity inversion before and after switch on.
Against secondary overvoltages thanks to transil diode (regulation troubles or connections mistakes) and auto-
recovery when output voltage > 2.4V/elt
Against battery wiring error
o
If battery voltage > 2.5V/elt +/-3%, the battery is not connected
o
If battery voltage < 1.17V/elt +/-3%, the battery is not connected
Against secondary overcurrent and short-circuits.
Against internal short-circuits thanks to primary fuse.
Against primary overvoltages (due to atmospheric or industrial causes).

15.4 Battery low voltage disconnection

The threshold is 21.6V+/-3%.
The relay is located on +.

15.5 Battery current limitation

The battery current limitation is user adjustable according to the battery capacity, in order to ensure a battery
reloading between 0.1C and 0.3C as advised by the manufacturer. The thresholds are 25%, 50% and 75% of the
nominal current. Selection is made by 2 microswitches. The charging current default value is set at 75% of the
nominal current.
