Use the following procedure to erase a
single track being played.
Be careful in using this operation because a
track cannot be recovered once it has been

erased.

In the play mode, press the EDIT/SPACE
button to switch the editing mode on.

Select ERASE by rotating and pressing
the JOG DIAL (or Â,¯and ENTER
button of remote control unit).
The modes are changed as follows:
DIVIDE? : Dividing a track.
COMBINE? : Combining tracks
ERASE? : Erasing track(s).
MOVE? : Moving (reordering) tracks.
... Editing is canceled if no operation is
performed for 8 seconds.

Press the YES button to set the track
number.

Press the YES button again to erase the
track.
The display after execution:
"EDIT NOW!" : When editing is in progress.
"COMPLETE!" : When editing is completed .
"CAN'T EDIT!" : When editing is impossible.
... It takes a while until the execution
completes.
... The track being played is erased (together
with its track title).
... If you execute an editing operation by
mistake, the condition before editing can
be recovered by performing the "EDIT
CANCEL" operation. (See page 40)

Press the EJECT button(ø) to unload the
disc.
... While "WRITING" is displayed, do not
apply shock or vibration to the unit
because information is being written on
the Mini Disc.

Effacement de piste
La fonction suivante permet d'effacer une
piste en cours de lecture.
Utilisez-la avec prudence car aucune
récupération n'est possible une fois la piste
effacée.

En mode Lecture (Play), appuyez sur le
bouton EDIT/SPACE pour passer en mode
Montage (Editing).

Sélectionnez le mode Q.ERASE en
manipulant le bouton JOG DIAL (ou en
appuyant sur les boutons Â,¯ et
ENTER de la télécommande).
Les modes défilent comme suit :
DIVIDE? : Division de piste
COMBINE? : Rattachement de deux pistes
ERASE? : Effacement de piste(s)
MOVE? : Réarrangement de piste(s)
... Le
mode
Montage
automatiquement annulé au bout de 8
secondes si vous n'avez fait aucune
opération.

Appuyez sur le bouton YES pour
confirmer le numéro de piste.

Appuyez sur YES pour effacer la piste.
Les messages suivants s'affichent:
"EDIT NOW!" : Réarrangement en cours
"COMPLETE!" : Opération terminée avec
succès
"CAN'T EDIT!" : Opération impossible.
... L'opération n'est pas instantanée.
... La piste courante est effacée, ainsi que
son titre.
... Si vous avez fait une opération de
montage par erreur, l'état antérieur peut
être rétabli en effectuant un "EDIT
CANCEL". (voir p. 40)

Appuyez sur le bouton EJECT(ø) pour
décharger le disque.
... Tant que le message "WRITING" est
affiché, l'appareil ne doit pas subir de
chocs ni de vibrations car cela risque de
perturber l'écriture des données sur le
disque.
