Using
If the battery power becomes low, an alarm signal with
3 notes sounds every 30 seconds.
Replace the batteries immediately.
The batteries can be very firmly seated in the battery
compartment. Tap or shake the device against your
hand, so the batteries can be moved out of the opened
battery compartment.
Using
Use the on/off switch (5) to switch on the gas detector.
The device starts a 15 second warm-up phase. All three
LEDs blink in a sequence. When warming-up is
finished, the green power LED (4) shines and you can
hear a signal sound every 7 seconds. The device is
ready to be used.
Move the gas sensor (1) to the location to be tested for
a gas leak resp. hold the device into the area where a
gas leak is suspected to be.
Pay attention: Gases such as Methane and Natural
gases rise up and liquid gases (e.g. Butane, Propane)
descent.
If the unit detects a gas leak, depending on the
concentration of the gas, the low alarm stage or the high
alarm stage is triggered.
Low alarm stage: The yellow LED (3) shines and an
alarm signal of 2 notes sounds twice a second.
High alarm stage: The red LED (2) and the yellow LED
(3) shine and an alarm signal of 5 notes sound twice a
