Intended Use

This Gas Detector is a very sensitive, self-sufficient
warning system. The device responds the following
types of gas: natural gas and propane. The device
serves to recognize gas leaking from gas pipes, gas
equipment (heaters, boilers etc.) small liquefied-gas
containers, such as camping-gas cartridges, gas
lighters etc. The detector signalizes gas with acoustic
and optic signals.
The gas detector has been developed for private use
and is not designed for the demands of industrial use.
The intended use also includes an operation following
the operating instructions.
Any use beyond these parameters (different media,
applying force) or any changes (reconstruction, no
original accessory) can lead to serious risks and is
regarded as use that is contrary to the intended
purpose. The operator is liable for any damage caused
by improper use.

Inserting / replacing Batteries

Turn the battery compartment cover counter clockwise
to open the battery compartment.
Insert two new batteries (not included) of the type
LR6 (AA) into the battery compartment. Pay attention to
the proper polarity of the batteries. The polarity is
printed on the type label.
Close the battery compartment.
