8. OPERATION
3. SET THE CHOKE
1. For a cold engine, move the choke to the "OFF" position.
Squeeze the throttle lever once.
2. When restarting the trimmer (warm engine)
the choke lever should remain into the "ON" position.
4. PULL THE STARTER
Keep pulling the starter until the engine starts.
NOTE
1. Make sure the cutting attachment is not touching
the ground or might touch an other object.
2. Pull the rope up as vertically as you can. Don't let the
rope drag on the casing of the machine/engine.
5. OPEN THE CHOKE
1. When the machine is running, move the choke to the
"ON" position.
2. Squeeze the throttle of the machine and then let
your machine idle for a 30- 40 seconds. Your
machine should now be ready to use.
STOP THE MACHINE
1. To STOP the machine release the throttle lever , allow
the machine to cool down with no throttle then move
the power switch to the OFF "O"position.
2. If not already in OFF position move the choke to the
OFF position.
IMPORTANT
.
1. Before storing the machine allow the engine to cool
down for a few minutes, by allowing it to run without
throttle.
2. You MUST allow the cutting head to come to a full stop
before carrying out any maintenance on the machine.
