6. SET UP
PROTECTIVE GUARD ASSEMBLY
Attach the guard (5) and the spacer ring (4) to the
gearbox (6) using the three screws (3) and tighten
these.
TRIMMER HEAD ASSEMBLY
1. Place the spacer(2) over the shaft, then lock the shaft
and spacer with supplied Allen keys .
2. Take the trimmer head and screw it on to the shaft in
an anti-clockwise direction until fully tightened by
hand.
(Note: left-threaded trimmer head)
WARNING
Never use a metal saw blade with this machine.

7. OIL AND FUEL

Drive Shaft Assembly
Take the shaft assembly and push it into the clutch
assembly hole. Make sure to align the hole on the
shaft with the hole on the clutch assembly. Then
tighten the screw.
WARNING
Gasoline is extremely flammable, sparks and
flames can cause an explosion.
1. Tank in a ventilated area and allow the engine to
cool before filling the tank
2. When refuelling, keep away from fire or heat
sources
3. Do not fill the tank to the maximum
4. Check whether the fuel cap is closed properly
5. Avoid spilling gasoline and clean up immediately
if the case arises
6. Keep the machine out of the reach of children
