4. INSERT/REMOVE THE BATTERIES

1. Open the camera by pulling the handle to the side, loosen the clasp and
fold the front part forward on.
2. Push the button under the keys, then the battery slot of the camera can
be pulled downwards.
3. 4, 8 or 12 x AA batteries can be inserted into the camera. Mind the
+ and – polarity of the batteries.
Note: Before the batteries can be removed the camera should be
switched off (turn switch to OFF). For initializing the camera again see
point 5 "Initial start up of the camera"
Caution: Only AA size batteries can be used. Other battery types may
have a negative impact on functionality.
4. Slide the battery storage back into the camery until it locks
Alternatively the Reviermanager camera can be operated with NiZn
batteries or externally with the Reviermanager battery case. You can find
more information on www.reviermanager.at.
Hint: Check the time in the menu of the camera if the camera has been
without power for a long time. The time can also be set easily via app
when the camera is turned on (switch turned to ON).
Note: When closing the camera it should be noted that the locking
mechanism isn´t too loose. The rubber seals must be clean and shut
tightly. Clean dirt cautiously. When the seal is damaged it must be replaced
immediately. (Damages caused by moisture that entered the camera due
to damaged seals are not covered by warranty and warranty is void).
