Maintenance and cleaning
The tool is designed to be low maintenance. However, it is always advantageous to keep the
die unit free from residual ink ribbon deposits and other contamination. A small wire brush
can be used for this!
To clean the tool NEVER do
•
Immerse it in a cleaning solution.
•
Spray oil into the tool for lubrication.
•
Do not attempt to disassemble the tool or carry out repairs. This is a precision
crimping tool and should be treated accordingly.
