Automatic connection

Tap on the Wifi line to enable Wifi service. After a brief moment, a green check mark appears on the right
side.
Now tap on Wifi settings. All available networks and all networks already in use will now be displayed
among Wifi networks.
Tap on the desired network and, if required, enter the appropriate Wifi key (password) to establish a
connection.
Tap on the box and the virtual keyboard will appear. Confirm the entries you made with Done and tap
Connect.
After a brief moment the connection is made.
Notes
a) If the device goes into standby mode, Wifi is turned off automatically. This reduces power consumption and thus automatically
leads to a longer battery life. When the device returns to active mode, the Wifi will automatically re-connect. This may take a few
seconds.
b) The list of currently searchable Wifi networks will be updated automatically.
c) If the Wifi function is enabled, the device automatically connects to an already configured network, provided it is within range.
d) If an unknown wireless network is in range, an information box will appear.

Manual connection

To manually check for an accessible Wifi network, proceed as follows:
(1) Tap on the Wifi icon on the home screen or in applications overview.
(2) Now open the Wifi settings and then the submenu. Tap the menu icon
option "Scan" on the menu that appears.
(3) Should the Wifi network not appear in the list of available networks, please scroll down and select
the item "Add Wifi Network" to manually enter the network SSID, the security protocol and
corresponding password. To confirm your entries, please tap "Save."
To manually enter an IP address, press the Wifi settings on the menu icon
to enter all the required network parameters. The hooks must be set at "Use static IP". If you do not
have this information, please contact your network administrator.
