6 DATE OF MANUFACTURE

The manufacturing date can be determined from your device's serial number. The
serial number is always 10 characters long: YYWWXXXXXX.
In the serial number, the first two digits (YY) are the year and the following two
digits (WW) are the week within the year when the device was manufactured.
7 COMPLIANCE
7.1 EU Radio Directive
Hereby, Suunto Oy, declares that the radio equipment type DP142 is in compliance
with Directive 2014/53/EU. The full text of the EU declaration of conformity is
available at the following internet address: suunto.com/EUconformity.
7.2 EU Personal Protective Equipment
The Tank POD together with a compatible Suunto dive computer is a personal
protective equipment under the EU regulation 2016/425.
The notified body no. 0078, Institut National de la Plongée Professionnelle,
Entrée 3 - Port de la Pointe Rouge, 13008 MARSEILLE, France, has completed
the EU type-examination of the PPE (Module B) and performed the conformity
assessment procedure (Module C2): Conformity to type based on internal
production control plus supervised product checks at random intervals.
All Tank PODs are certified according to EN 250:2014.
For Tank PODs manufactured starting May 2021 that have the marking "EN 250
NITROX" on the side of the device, the conformity of the following harmonized
standards is assured: EN 250:2014 and EN 13949:2003. The device is certified
according to the requirements specified in the EN 250 standard down to a depth
of 50 meters.
7.3 FCC/ISED Regulatory Notices
Modification statement
Suunto has not approved any changes or modifications to this device by the
user. Any changes or modifications could void the user's authority to operate the
equipment.
Interference statement
This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules and Industry Canada license-
exempt RSS standard(s). Operation is subject to the following two conditions:
(1) this device may not cause interference, and (2) this device must accept any
interference, including interference that may cause undesired operation of the
device.
Wireless Notice
This device complies with FCC/ISED radiation exposure limits set forth for an
uncontrolled environment and meets the FCC radio frequency (RF) Exposure
Guidelines and RSS-102 of the ISED radio frequency (RF) Exposure rules. This
transmitter must not be co-located or operating in conjunction with any other
antenna or transmitter.
FCC Class B Digital Device Notice
This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class
