CLEANING AND CARE

Unplug the device from the socket and let it cool down completely before cleaning it. To
avoid electric shock, do not hold the cord, plug or body of the machine under water or
fill the bean container with water while it is connected to the machine body.
1. Remove the bean funnel from the bean funnel holder. Clean the bean funnel, bean
funnel cover, coffee powder container and coffee container cover with water and
then dry them carefully.
2. Hold the grinder by the handle and turn it counter-clockwise to remove it. After
you have taken the grinder out of the device, remove the coffee powder from
the grinder and from the cutting blades. Pour out the rest of the coffee powder
(see Figure 2). To put the grinder back into position, put it back into the machine.
Make sure that the notch on the lower side of the grinder is level with the lock.
Turn the grinder clockwise until it is fixed in the correct position again (see 'Device
overview').
Note: Please handle the grinder carefully as the grinder and cutting blade are very
sharp.
3. Wipe the body of the device with a wet cloth and then dry it completely.
4. Store the device in a dry and cool environment when you are not using the device.
