The shutter release button of transmitter can be used when the battery is not
installed. In this case, no sound will be heard and the display panel will be
switched off.
When the timer is turned on, the shutter release button can also be used to
manually release the shutter. If the shutter will be released manually, the timer
will continue the countdown (including display, focus release indicator and
beep). If the manual and automatic shutter release are in combination, the
shutter will remain open until the end of two exposure times.

7. Note on use

Before using the remote control, please check the battery power and the number of
remaining shots in your camera (refer to the camera manual for more information).
The timer will continue to run even if the camera is unable to take pictures due
to low battery power, no memory card, memory buffer or insufficient memory
buffer capacity (digital cameras only). It is recommended to use an AC adapter to
maintain power supply for a long time.
If you want to do a long exposure
manually, you can press the shutter release
button of the remote and slide it up into
the hold position. The photo will be taken
as long as the shutter release button is in
this position. Afterwards slide the button
