Can I continue to use my
previous charger?
Should the lithium battery
remain permanently connected
to the charger over winter?
In my vehicle it sometimes
gets 50°C and more in the
summer. Will this damage my
lithium battery?

batteries fit into the installa-
tion space in which my previous
batteries were installed?

Can I run an inverter in the
vehicle on my lithium batteries?

It depends on which charger is installed. If the charger has a setting for
GEL or AGM batteries, it can usually be used. However, the final charging
voltage should not exceed 14.6V. Charging curves for lead acid batteries
with liquid electrolyte must not be used. Ideally, the charger should have
an IU characteristic curve for LiFePO4 batteries.
This is not necessary, on the contrary. Charge the battery to about
60 - 80%, then disconnect charger / from the vehicle.
AG POWER LITHIUM batteries can be operated up to 60°C without any
problems.
Discharging down to -20°C is also possible, but when charging below 0°C,
charging must be limited or prevented. This can be done with a charge
booster and / or a temperature controlled charger.
If 92-95Ah AGM batteries or 80Ah GEL batteries were installed, the AG
POWER LITHIUM will also fit, because it has the same dimensions and
mountings. In the VW Bus the 90Ah fits under the seat, in the Ducato the
100Ah.
No, lithium batteries have no memory effect, they can be operated cons-
tantly in a partially charged state.
Lithium batteries are particularly suitable for inverter operation, because
the voltage level remains constantly high during discharge and thus the
inverter does not switch off.
However, the maximum continuous discharge current of the battery
must be observed and must not be exceeded.
Yes, provided that, manufacturer, type and capacity are the same.
Also, the age should not be too far apart, as well as the voltages of the
batteries must be aligned.
