• Now place the rotor blade on the motor spindle. Be careful when doing so to ensure the retaining
screw remains at the right depth on the rotor blade after it has been fitted and ensures a flush fitting
between the rotor blade and the spindle. Now secure the retaining screw of the rotor blade. The
rotor blade will then be secured to the motor spindle.
• Now place the front safety guard onto the rear safety guard. The metal bracket of the front safety
guard should be hung on the rear safety guard at this time. The metal clamps of the front safety
guard can now be pulled downwards to connect the two guards together.

OPERATING THE DEVICE

Caution:
Always ensure before using for the first time that all screwed parts have been correctly connected to
each other. Regularly check the screw attachments.
1. Plug the device into the mains.
2. The device incorporates the following functions:
• Slow speed (1)
• Medium speed (2)
• Fast speed (3)
• Fan turn function
• Tilt function
3. Turn the speed adjuster to the desired speed (1, 2, 3). The device will then start at the speed
selected.
4. The turning function can be started or stopped by pressing the "ON" / "OFF" button (Turn = switch
is depressed / Still = switch is raised up). When wishing to switch from turning to still mode, push
the switch so it comes up again and the fan remains in the new mode.
5. If you wish to turn the fan off, turn the speed adjuster to "0".
6. To adjust the tilt angle, slightly loosen the tilt angle adjustment screw and position the device as
required. Then resecure the tilt angle adjustment screw in place.
OPERATION WITH THE REMOTE CONTROL (ONLY MODEL FS-40MR)
The device you have purchased incorporates a remote control. This allows you various control options.
SPEED ADJUSTER (ON SPEED)
• This button allows you to adjust the speed. As previously described, the device includes 3 different
selectable speeds. When the"ON SPEED button" is pressed once, the speed setting "slow" is
selected, and further presses select "medium" and "fast" respectively.
• By pressing the "OFF button", the fan operation can be stopped.
TIME PROGRAMMING
This button allows you to select various timing functions from 30 minutes to 7.5 hours. Each time
the"TIME button" is pressed, the time extends by a further 30 minutes.
