10. Safety tips

• POWERTUBE may only be used for the electronic stimulation of
nerves and musculature.
• Do not use the device for patients who have been fitted with a
cardiac pacemaker.

• Pay attention to strangulation by cables, especially with excess
lengths.
• Therapy time for the first application (without cables, direct
therapy)
- Head max. 2-2-2 minutes
- Chest max. 3-3-3 minutes
• After a week, the therapy time can be increased slightly.
• Simultaneous connection with other devices is not permitted.
• POWERTUBE may only be operated with a 9-volt battery.
• POWERTUBE may only be operated with the accessories included
in the range of delivery.
• POWERTUBE should be disposed of as hazardous waste.
• For technical questions, handling or maintenance POWERTUBE,
please contact the manufacturer.

11. Care, maintenance and storage

Effective protection of the POWERTUBE from
damage includes:
• Appropriate operation and maintenance.
• Protection against moisture, high temperatures, dust and direct
sunlight.
• Protection from children, animals and pests.
• After each use, clean the contact surfaces of the POWERTUBE
device and the hand electrodes with a commercially available
cleaning agent (e.g. 1-propanil, ethanol, glyoxal). The printe
nameplate should be left out.
• If the device is not used for a longer period of time, the
remove the battery from the device.
• Dispose of the battery as hazardous waste.
• The expected service life of new alkaline batteries is approx. 2
months (with daily use of 20 minutes).
