Risk of fire due to improper installation
Resistor surfaces reach high temperature during operation. A braking resistor which is not properly mounted can cause components overheat with associ-
ated risk of fire.
• Mount the resistor on non-flammable and heat-resistant surfaces only.
• Ensure that there are no flammable or combustible objects or materials close to the resistor.

Brandgefahr durch unsachgemäße Installation
Die Widerstandsoberflächen erreichen im Betrieb hohe Temperaturen. Durch einen unsachgemäß montierten Bremswiderstand kann es zur Überhitzung
von Komponenten mit der damit verbundenen Brandgefahr kommen.
• Montieren Sie den Widerstand nur auf nicht brennbaren und hitzebeständigen Oberflächen.
• Stellen Sie sicher, dass sich in der Nähe des Widerstandes keine entflammbaren oder brennbaren Gegenstände oder Materialien befinden.
CAUTION
Risk of burn due to hot surface temperature
The braking resistor can reach a temperature of 300 °C in normal operation. Ratings given are absolute maximum and must not be exceeded.
In the event of operation beyond specification or a fault, the resistor can reach a temperature of up to 600 °C. You can get burnt when touch-
ing the hot surface.
• Mount the resistor in such a way that it is not accessible and cannot be touched during operation.
• Allow sufficient distance from nearby materials to keep them at an acceptable temperature.
• Ensure ventilation is provided.

Verbrennungsgefahr durch hohe Oberflächentemperatur
Der Bremswiderstand kann im normalen Betrieb eine Temperatur von 300 °C erreichen. Bei den angegebenen Bemessungsdaten handelt es
sich um die absoluten Maximalwerte, die nicht überschritten werden dürfen. Wenn die Spezifikationen im Betrieb überschritten werden oder
ein Fehler auftritt, kann der Widerstand eine Temperatur von bis zu 600 °C erreichen. Es besteht Verbrennungsgefahr, wenn es zu Berührun-
gen kommt.
• Montieren Sie den Widerstand so, dass er während des Betriebs nicht zugänglich ist und nicht berührt werden kann.
• Halten Sie ausreichend Abstand zu nahegelegenen Materialien ein, um diese auf einer akzeptablen Temperatur zu halten.
• Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Belüftung gewährleistet ist.
