Der Benutzer muss die Anweisungen des Herstellers sorgfältig durchlesen und sich mit jeder Komponente der Ausrüstung vertraut machen.
ANWENDUNGEN – Pendelsturz: Vor Montage oder Gebrauch ist darauf zu achten, dass es nicht zu Pendelstürzen kommen kann. Zu Pendelstürzen kommt es dann, wenn der Anschlagpunkt nicht direkt über der Absturzstelle ist. Der Benutzer muss daher immer darauf achten, dass der Anschlagpunkt möglichst lotrecht oberhalb von ihm ist.

APPLICATIONS Fall Clearance Diagramm – Personal Fall Arrest System: The EAP Beam Fix is designed for use with CE-certified components. Use of this equipment with non-approved components may result in incompatibility between equipment, and could affect the reliability and safety of the complete system. A full body harness must be worn by the user when connected to the EAP Beam Fix. When making connections with the EAP Beam Fix, eliminate all possibility of roll-out. Roll-out occurs when interference between a hook and the attachment point causes the hook gate to unintentionally open and release.
INSTALLATION AND USE 5. INSTALLATION AND USE Bottom Mount Top Mount Side Mount Inspect the equipment according to INSPECTION of this manual before each use. The EAP Beam Fix could be installed on any I-beam for both Horizontal and Vertical use. The EAP Beam Fix could be located on the top, bottom (horizontal) or side (vertical) of I-beam. Step 1 Remove the quick release lock pin. Open the adjustable beam block by turning the tightening handle counter-clockwise.
Ensure the quick release lock pin can be inserted through the hole on safety lock button, and locks in place. Step 4 Record the inspection date and results in the inspection and maintenance log. If inspection reveals an unsafe or defective condition remove unit from service and destroy, or return to TEUFELBERGER for repair. NOTE Only TEUFELBERGER or parties authorized in writing are qualified to repair this equipment.
MAINTENANCE, SERVICE, STORAGE 8. MAINTENANCE, SERVICE, STORAGE CLEANING: Periodically clean the EAP Beam Fix by water and a mild soap solution. Do not use acids or other caustic chemicals that could damage the system components. A lubricant may be applied to the quick safety lock button and release lock pin.
