Allgemeines Das System zur direkten M-Bus - Datenübertragung über eine analoge Telefonleitung besteht aus einem Modem für den PC und einem Modem für den Pegelwandler von RS232C auf M-Bus. Es gestattet eine normgerechte Fernübertragung unter Einhaltung der Datensicherungsschicht aus EN1434-3 bzw.

General The system for M-Bus data transmission through an analog telephone line comprises a modem for the PC and a modem for the level converter from RS232C to M-Bus. It allows remote transmission that complies with the data security level from EN1434–3 and the new EN13757-2 in conformance with standards, especially the transmission of the even parity bit.

Should the modem be used for other data communications systems or if you are not sure whether it has been setup for the M-Bus mode, it can be reconfigured at any time.
