AC Schnitzer Front Splitter F97 / X3M - F98 / X4M
Fitting...
Remove the AC Schnitzer front splitter again.
WARNING!
When inserting the M6 cavity fitting, proceed with
particular care.
Insert the M6 cavity fitting supplied into the bores. Us-
ing the cavity fitting fixing tool supplied and one of the
cap-head bolts M6x10mm supplied, carefully tighten
the cavity fitting.
To do this:
The M6 cavity dowel must only grip the lower ma-
terial thickness of the front skirt!

Screw the cap-head bolt M6x20mm into the cavity
fitting M6 and counterhold the cavity fitting M6 with the
fixing tool. Screwing in the cap-head screw compress-
es the M6 cavity fixing axially and spreads all 4 wings
radially out on the back of the standard front skirt.
Do not tighten the M6 cavity fitting in one step.
Tighten the M6 cavity fitting "step by step"!

Ready mounted cavity fitting M6.
The distance between the threaded web and the
outer edge of the M6 cavity fitting, or the central
position, should be as shown.
