3.6- In the event of emergency
Stop immediately the tool and remove the battery.
Assist the injured person with first aid and call for medical assistance as quickly as possible.
If electrolyte leaks and contacts skin or eyes, rinse thoroughly with clean water and seek immediate
medical attention.
IV. GETTING STARTED
Warning! The tool must NOT be used or switched on until it has been fully assembled.
WARNING: IF ANY PART IS MISSING OR DAMAGED, DO NOT OPERATE THE
MACHINE UNTIL YOU HAVE REPLACED THE MISSING OR DAMAGED PART.
4.1- Unpacking
- Remove product from its packaging.
- Check that tool and accessories are not damaged.
4.2- Assembly
The tool requires some assembly prior to first time use.
4.2.1- Protective guard
Position the protective guard on the motor housing.
Align the protective cover to the machine shaft and fix together with the screws.
WARNING! Never use the trimmer without the protective guard fully fitted.
WARNING! The protective guard is fitted with a sharp blade (for trimming the nylon line)
protected with a protector sheath.
Make sure the protector sheath is on the sharp blade before assembling the protective guard.
Remove the protector sheath before use and always replace it after use.
4.2.2- Edge protector
Insert the edging support (7) into the holes on both side os the motor housing.
Adjust to the desired length.
4.2.3- Side wheels
Insert and clip the wheels (6) support onto the housing located on the side of the motor housing.
4.2.4- Auxiliary handle
Assemble the auxiliary handle to the mount provided on the upper tube, then secure with the
provided screw and the adjustment lock.
4.3- Battery
NOTE: The battery is provided with a low charge state. To ensure proper operation of the tool, fully
recharge the battery before first use.
Tips to ensure optimal battery life
- Do not to drop, hit, or damage the battery.
- Recharge the battery before it is completely drained.
When you notice that the tool performance is decreasing, recharge the battery accordingly.
- Never charge a fully charged battery. Overloading reduces its life.
- If the battery is hot, allow it to cool down before proceeding with charging.
- When the product is not used, it is recommended to charge the battery every 3 months.
