Ein beschädigtes Netzkabel kann überhitzen und einen Brand verursachen. - Keine schweren Gegenstände bzw. das Gerät selbst auf das Netzkabel stellen. Kurzschluss- und Brandgefahr! Den Netzstecker nie am Kabel aus der Steckdose ziehen, besonders wenn das Gerät aus der Nische gezogen wurde.
- Seite 9 D D E E ÖFFNEN/SCHLIEßEN DES DECKELS Der Deckel ist mit einer fest schließenden Dichtung versehen, um zu verhindern, daß Feuchtigkeit in das Gerät gelangt, die zu einer Zunahme der Eisbildung führen würde. Wenn der Deckel geöffnet wird, wird die Luft im Innenraum wärmer und dehnt sich aus. Sobald der Deckel geschlossen wird kühlt die Luft wieder ab.
- Seite 10 D D E E Achtung ! Benutzen Sie niemals ein Messer oder ähnlichen scharfen Gegenstand, um Reif zu entfernen. Wenn der Reifansatz mehr als 10-15 mm dick ist sollten Sie Ihr Gerät abtauen. Wir empfehlen dies zu tun, wenn möglichst wenig Lebensmittel im Gerät sind.

G G B B Make sure that the power plug is not squashed or damaged by the back of the fridge/freezer. - A damaged power plug may overheat and cause a fire. Do not place heavy articles or the fridge/freezer itself on the power cord. - There is a risk of a short circuit and fire. - Seite 12 G G B B TEMPERATURE CONTROL The thermostat ensures that the required temperature is maintained in the freezer. Turning the thermo- stat button towards “ ” makes the temperature in the freezer colder, and turning the button towards “ ” makes the temperature warmer.
- Seite 13 G G B B HOW TO CLEAN YOUR FREEZER INSIDE Remove the plug from the mains socket, and remove all loose accessories before cleaning the freezer. The best time to clean your freezer is after defrosting and before the electricity supply is connected again. Use a damp cloth to clean your freezer. Use hot water, and a mild, non-aromatic cleaning agent.
