Safety instructions

Please carefully save this information. These instructions contain important indications regarding safety and control
of the heater.
Attention! Using the heater for undue purposes will lead to dangerous situations.
For a save use please mind the following instructions:
Safety instructions
1. Do not expose the synthetic upper part nor the plug to water or any other fluid.
2. Avoid damaging the cable:
- don't pull the heater by the cable
- don't pull the power plug by the cable
3. Protect the cable against sharp edges, oil and heat

4. lf the heater is not in use, disconnect the plug from the AC mains
5. Always disconnect the plug from the AC mains, when testing or maintenance works are being carried out.
6. Never remove fixed covers nor screws. Always make sure the heater is complete.
7. This unit /device is not intended to be operated by an external timer or by a separate
telecontrol system.
8. This unit /device can be used by children aged 8 and by persons with reduced physical,
sensoric or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they are supervised or instructed
concerning the safe use of the unit /device and understand the resulting risks.
9. Children must not play with the unit /device. Cleaning and user maintenance should not be done by
children without supervision.
10. The power supply cable of this unit /device must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent
or by a similarly qualified person if the power supply cable is damaged. This must be done to avoid a
hazard
Precaution measures
1. The heater may only be used with the voltage indicated on the name plate
2 . Do not open heater nor repair it yourself
3. Only charge the heater, when at least the upper side of the heating element is immersed in fluid.
4 . While heating, the fluid may never sink below the upper side of the heating element.
5. The max . immersion depth of the heater is indicated on the heater tube.
Never immerse the heater above the max . immersion depth .
6. In case of a strong overload of the apparatus, the built-in safety heat controller will switch off the heater.
The heater should be checked on failure immediately and may only be repaired by a licensed skilled
person. (only at T-variant)
General indications and precautions
1. Only use the heater for those purposes indicated in the safety instructions .
2. Never touch the fluid, when the heater is connected to the mains and in the fluid.
3. Heating fluids is only allowed, when endangerd persons are kept at a distance from the heating place.
4. ATTENTION: When heating honey do not put over button position 4 (about 40 ° C)!
5. Never use a damaged heater. The heater should be checked on failures immediately and may only be
repaired by licensed skilled persons.
6. Never heat in the vicinity of explosives, objects nor gas .
7. Avoid any contact with the heated heating element.
8. Always store the heater at a clean and dry place, which is not accessible to children and animals.
