5. Some codes may only control some functions of the device.
There may be another code in the code list that controls more
functions. Try other codes in the code list for more functionality.
6. If you cannot find a remote code that works on your device
or there are no codes in the code list for your device, use
the automatic code search method in the next section to
programme your remote control.
Manual code entry
1. Turn on the device you want to control.
2. Press and hold the SETUP button on the remote control until
the red LED on the remote control turns on. Release the SETUP
button; the red LED will remain on.
3. Press and release the device button on the remote control
for the type of device you want to control (for example, TV,
decoder). The red LED will flash once and stay on.
4. With the remote control aimed at the device, press and release
the POWER button or the P + / P- button on the remote control
to scroll through the preloaded codes, until the device you want
to control reacts.
5. Press the OK button to save the code and exit the search. The
red light will turn off.
Notes:
1. During code search, you can press the SETUP button to stop the
search and exit code search. The red LED will turn off and the
code will remain unchanged.
2. If all codes have been searched without success, the remote
control will exit manual code search and automatically return
to operational mode. The currently stored code will not be
changed.
3. In code search mode, only the OK, SETUP, POWER, and P + /
P - buttons function, not the others.
4. During manual code search, if no operation is performed within
6 seconds, it will switch to automatic search mode.
Automatic code search.
Automatic code search is a process by which you can search
for a code for your device. We recommend that you read all of
the following steps to familiarise yourself with automatic code
search before beginning the process.
1. Turn on the device you want to control.
NOTE: the automatic code search process cannot be used for
devices without on / off function.
