- Magnet not activated

Remedy
- Check mains voltage
- Replace the fuse
- Activate the magnet
- Pre-select direction of rotation
- Have the switch replaced
- Activate the magnet
- Check mains voltage
- Replace the fuse
- Have the switch replaced
- Top-up lubricant
- Open the cock
- Clean the tank completely
