PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Designated use
This hedge trimmer is intended exclusively for
noncommercial trimming of hedges, shrubs and
bushes.
Using this machine for any other or additional pur-
pose is considered contrary to its designated use.
The manufacturer cannot be held liable for any
damage resulting from such use.

Possible misuse
Safety equipment must not be removed or by-
passed, e.g. by tying down the switches on
the hand grips
Do not use the machine in the rain
Do not use the machine in the rain or on wet
hedges and bushes
CAUTION!
The equipment is intended for domestic
use only.
Safety and protective equipment
CAUTION!
Risk of injury!
Safety and protective devices should not
be disabled.
Overload protection
CAUTION!
Remove the battery from the machine
before carrying out any work on the
blade.
The machine detects when the blade has been
blocked by cutting excessively thick material or a
hard objects; it switches off automatically to pro-
tect the motor.
1. Remove the blockage from the blade.
2. Wait approx. 5 seconds.
3. Switch the machine back on.
Handguard
CAUTION!
Risk of injury if the handguard is not in-
stalled!
Never start up the machine without the
handguard.
Two-hand operation
The hedge trimmer can only be operated using
both hands at the same time.
