Correct switching points in teach-in mode
1 Way a): Connect the sensor to the programmer.
Way b): Connect the Control input (C) through a
switch to + (Fig. 1).
2 Turn on programming mode: Hold the Prog button of
the programmer or the switch button down for at least
5 seconds. The first output is selected and cycles.
3 Select the switching point to be corrected: Press the
Prog button of the programmer or the switch button
for max. 2 seconds as often as required until the
desired switching output cycles.
4 Position the target object (machine member etc.) at
the desired teach point.
5 Save the switching point: Hold the Prog button of the
programmer or the switch button down for
2-4 seconds.
6 Return to operating mode: Press the Prog button of
the programmer or the switch button for
max. 2 seconds as often as required until no output
cycles any more.
After programming is complete, connect the sensor to
the user-side electronics. In operating mode a fixed
connection between the C input and ground is
recommended.

Electromagnetic Compatibility
The product BAW M18MM-UAZ50B-BP00-507 is an
inductive proximity sensor with analog output and is
subject to EN 60947-5-7.
The additional binary outputs DA1, DA2, DA3 have
sensing and information processing functions. I. e. these
outputs are a representation of the analog output signal,
please refer to EN 60947-5-2 table 7 / line 3.
