6.4. Outer cover

1. Unpack the outer with the outdoor sensor
and remove the cover flap [11]. To release
the cover, unlock the catch, (→ arrow)
with a screwdriver.
Do not separate the sensor cable
from the sensor. It must be
connected to the fan through the
pipe during housing installation.
2. Attach the supplied foam tape to the centre
of the spigot.

6.5. Fan

1. Unpack unit and take off the design cover
[3]. To release the cover, unlock the catch
(→ arrow) with a screwdriver.
2. Remove the indoor climate sensor [5].
3. Remove the electronics cover [6].
Unlock the catch (
screwdriver.
4. Attach the supplied foam tape to the
centre of the spigot.
Be sure to attach the foam tape to
the Aero_aH 100 so that the device
does not draw in any unwanted air
from outside.

7. Mounting

When installing the FE 100/1
window installation kit or the ECA-
DR spacing frame, please use the

corresponding mounting and
operating instructions.

7.1. Installation of the outer cover

1. Insert the housing of the outer cover [10]
into a wall breakthrough/wall sleeve.
2. Align the housing horizontally and mark
the dowel holes.
3. Remove the housing [10], drill M6 dowel
holes with Ø 6 mm and insert the dowels.
