Cleaning instructions

Never clean the appliance with water if the main plug is still plugged into the socket.
After each use of the printer, check to see if there is any ink or residual material from the
print media in the printer. Remove these color material residues.
You can clean the outside of the printer with a damp cleaning cloth. Make sure that the
power plug is not plugged into the wall outlet.

Application notes

Use only print cartridges that are approved for this printer model. Only ink cartridges filled
with food color may be used.
Be sure to use only ink cartridges with a sufficient expiration date. Replace the cartridges
when they have passed their expiration date.
The food printer is only released for printing with edible materials. These include fondant
papers on plastic films, wafer papers or transfer sheets based on cocoa butter.
Place the paper carefully into the rear paper tray. The side of the print medium to be printed
has to face upwards. Fondant paper should be placed with the film overhang first into the
paper tray.
Print at least once a week to prevent the printhead from drying out.
In case of non-compliance with the cleaning and application instructions, the statutory
warranty claim expires.
