IMPORTANT NOTE:

To prevent the ink from drying on the print head, the printer has to be used regularly. We
recommend using the printer at least once a week. Depending on the room temperature
and humidity, the required usage interval may differ.
In the case of non-compliance, the statutory warranty claims due to damage to the print
head and to the ink cartridges are excluded.
Please pay close attention to the application notes on page 6.
Place the printer in a flat and secure place. Remove the transport locks on the print head
and the printer itself. Plug the power plug into the socket. Install the printer as described in
the Canon PIXMA TS705/TS5050 manual.
Use only ink cartridges with food color. Print only on print media from food material. Place
the paper carefully into the rear paper tray. The side of the print medium to be printed has
to face upwards. Fondant paper must be placed with the film overhang first into the paper
slot.
For optimum print results, set the quick settings of the printer to "Photoprint", and mark the
additional functions "Borderless printing" and "Color/intensity manual setting". For the
media type, select "Photo paper matt", with the paper tray "Rear tray".
