Potential cause/solution
You need the "Lame MP3 encoder" in order to save any track you record
as a MP3 file.
You will have to download this encoder only once and free of charge
before saving a track as a MP3 file for the first time.
You can find the right "Lame MP3 encoder" version for each operating
system under http://wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/Lame_Installation
• Is the device correctly connected to the computer?
• Has the device been selected as the recording device in the
"Audacity " settings?

• Is the quality of the original track adequate?
• Is the record dirty?
• The recording volume may be set too high, which may overload
some of the sounds when recording. Decrease the recording volume.
