12.1

Charging function for external devices

The DIGITRADIO 52 has a wired and wireless (to Qi standard) charging function for
external devices such as mobile phones and smartphones.
Caution: Do not use both variants at the same time. This can cause damage to
your devices.
12.1.1

Wired charging of external devices

Use the original charging cable (USB) for your external device and insert the USB plug
into the USB port (DC OUT) on the rear of the DIGITRADIO 52 CD.
The external device can be charged at a maximum of 5 V and 1 A.
12.1.2

Wireless charging of external devices

If your external device has a wireless charging function (wireless charging to Qi
standard), you can place it on the charging mat on the top of the DIGITRADIO 52. The
display of your external device must be facing upwards when doing so. If correctly
orientated, the charging process will begin automatically. Please refer to the instruction
manual for your external device for more information on wireless battery charging.
