Installation:
• Deposit the thrust washer 4925-55 close to the wishbone.
• Screw the compression nut 4929-2 onto the spindle 4929-1
as shown in the illustration. Afterwards, insert the pre-installed
spindle 4929-1 into the housing 4925-54. Fig. 1.
• Insert both half shells of the centring unit 4925-56 into the ring
of the centring unit as shown in the illustration.
• Lubricate the new silent block according to manufacturer's
instructions and place it, with the lubricated side, on the centring
unit 4925-56. Fig. 2.
• With one hand, place the housing 4925-54 and the pre-
assembled spindle 4929-1 on the bearing lug of the wishbone

• With the other hand push the centring unit 4925-56 with the
attached silent block onto the opposite side of the spindle
4929-1. Fig. 3.
• Screw the thrust washer 4925-55 onto the free end of the spindle
into the friction connection. Fig. 4.
• After friction connection the compression nut 4929-2 is manually
turned, so that the silent block is inserted in the centring unit
4925-56.
• Once the front lip seal of the silent block is inserted in the cent-
ring unit the silent block centres with the radius of insertion of
the bearing lug. Fig. 5.
Please secure separate parts against falling off!
Tools must not tilt!
